The best option is to have a pre-night stay in Mbale town, but you can also stay at any lodge overlooking the mighty Sipi Falls. It is 52km from Mbale town to Budadiri Uganda Wildlife Authority office, taking approximately one hour drive from Mbale town. To get an early start, be at the UWA offices at 8:00 AM. Clear the park entrance fees as: – $35 per 24hr period for Foreign non-residents and $25 per 24hr period for Foreign residents, Ugx.15000/- for East Africans. Our Two Day trek is a truly amazing trekking experience climbing up past the base of a 61 meters high Dirigana Falls, then continue climbing up to the top of the falls and along the Dirigana River before ascending to the Mukoola Ridge which has incredible views of the valleys and communities below.

3 DAY TREK TO WAGAGAI PEAK at 4,321metres, MASABA SUMMIT 4,152 metres (two peaks plus climbing and crossing the Masaba Table at 4,020 metres which is a long flat topped rock rising above the alpine moorland and measures 700 metres long by 200 meters wide with 80 to 100 metre high cliffs all around via the new Sasa Trail and the newly constructed Masaba Camp.

5 Days Elgon Trek Premier Experience.
Our 5 days premier trek via the new Sasa Trail goes to two peaks plus climbing and crossing the Masaba table, which is a long flat-topped rock rising above the alpine moorland and measures 700 metres long by 200 meters wide with 80 to 100 metre high cliffs all around at 4,020 metres. After summiting Wagagai Peak you drop down into the World’s Largest Caldera and across to the far side, where we have a camp (Kaiyah Camp @ 3,695m) at the head of Suam Gorge. From this camp it is easy walking 1.2km down to the Hot Springs and the Kenyan border. From there, you then have a steady climb across the caldera to the head of the Simu Gorge with views down the gorge as you climb up to the rim of the caldera and down to Mude Camp for a short rest before descending to Sasa River Camp.
