Moses Campsite is such a beautiful place found, just on top of the magnificent Sipi Falls in Kapchorwa district in the eastern Uganda. Though you can’t expect anything fancy while staying at Moses campsite, the location on a plateau with stunning views over the countryside below is just breathtaking. The friendly staff will make you an evening camp fire and prepare for you basic meals. However, you may bring your own drinks. There are picnic tables to dine from.

Moses’ campsite is Sipi’s original backpacker option. It is a small, laid-back operation that has a good view of the falls from its wonderful rickety terrace and unhindered views of the plains below from the rocky cliff. The bandas (thatched-roofed huts) are decent and the staff is friendly, in addition to surrounding colobus monkeys which often hang around the shady campground.
The campsite is an affordable and peaceful camping ground. You can stay in the local-style bandas. Enjoy your stay seamlessly with warm showers on request. Food and local beers are also available, but hey, don’t miss the best amazing views of Sipi Falls, hard to find at any other campsite than at Moses campsite.
Moses campsite enjoys a real laid back and remote atmosphere so you will never want to leave. Don’t expect a very luxurious and fancy place, because the campsite is in a real African setting.
