Eastern Uganda Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Arrival Entebbe Airport
Meet and greet upon arrival at Entebbe Airport (airport pick up by your hotel) then transfer you to the hotel.
Overnight stay at Cassia Lodge in Kampala. Meal Plan: Dinner
Day 2: Kampala City Tour
After morning breakfast, our representative will pick you up from the lodge for a guided city tour. This tour shall begin with Namugongo Martyrs’ Shrine, which commemorates the Ugandan Christian heroes that were burnt alive in 1886 during King Mwanga II regime, the late King of Buganda Kingdom. You will continue with a visit to Bahai temple and then Uganda museum.
Get your lunch at any good local restaurant and thereafter visit the Kasubi Tombs, the burial tombs of the last four kings of Buganda Kingdom. You will then continue to ‘Bulange’ (Buganda’s Parliament), Kabaka’s Lake, Namirembe Anglican and Rubaga Catholic Cathedrals, ending with shopping spree in various craft markets for locally made souvenirs.

Day 3: Kampala – Jinja Eastern Uganda Tour
After your breakfast, your guide will be at the hotel to pick you up and transfer you to Jinja for a full day of adventure. You will spend the day enjoying optional activities such as; white water rafting, bungee jumping and jet skiing.
Dinner and overnight stay at Source of the Nile Hotel. Meal Plan: B, L & D
Day 4: Jinja – Mbale Mount Elgon
While still in Jinja, you will visit the Source of River Nile with a boat cruise along the mighty River Nile. Thereafter, drive eastwards of the country arriving in Mbale town for lunch. After lunch we will take a local guide to trek on the foothills of Mount Elgon where you will find Sipi Falls, a paradise full of flowers, birds, waterfalls and creeks. At least three (3) waterfalls can be visited.
Walking in this area must feel like being Adam or Eve, so prepare yourself for a beautiful full day in paradise!

Day 5: Waterfall Visit and Coffee Tour
After breakfast you will take on an excursion and visit the three (3) Sipi waterfalls. The guided walk to the waterfalls is outstanding because you can be certain that you will pass more picturesque waterfalls, coffee plantations and caves. Local villagers will be sure to greet you with Jambo and beaming smiles.
If you are feeling brave, one of the waterfalls is even perfect for that early morning shower. When you come back a nice cup of warm Mount Elgon coffee shall be waiting for you! Later on, get ready for a 2-hour coffee tour on how coffee is grown, harvested, dried, roasted and also taste freshly brewed coffee.

Day 6: Visit Mbale Town – Return to Kampala
Wake up at your convenience ready to do sightseeing of Mbale town thereafter an early lunch prepare to return at your convenience back to Kampala arriving by early evening. Should your flight be on the same day, you will be dropped off the airport for your onward flight back home or to your next destination. Meal Plan B & L.
